Plantar-fasciitis?
Last week’s 8 miler turned into more of a walk after 4 miles and pain. I’m deciding this is an anomaly, not a harbinger of things to come. I’m ready to start next week’s training program, but I’m definitely going to take it on the easy side in order to keep from exacerbating things.
Bike
Incredibly beautiful ride to work. Made it without incident. Was afraid I’d be lost given my inability to find my way out of a paper bag. Did well, though. Slow, in fact really slow compared to cohort, but steady and safe. Feel like a small corner is turned in the workout world. Need to run tomorrow to believe it, but things are feeling better.
Finally
Made it to a place where I was able to see some weight loss because of the exercise, so of course I stopped exercising. I haven’t run in 2 weeks. Will hopefully bike tomorrow to work and then run on Sat.
Run run
Have now done two 8 mile loops in GG park and last weekend added a 16 mile bike loop. Things are looking up. And I did have major energy after the weekend. Must. Remember. Energy.
8 miles
On Sunday in GG park. Beautiful route. Bad fight getting there. Apologized. Ran in under 10 min pace. Hurt two days later mainly in shoulder. Wired. Feel like I’m training at least some, though, which is nice. Want to run GG park more. Truly gorgeous. Can bike it too for training.
Run?
Didn’t run the entire week last week, but at least I felt good and not depressed. In general, the world is passing by and I need to get into the stream of life. Realized today that half measures are what I’ve been living in and that’s not o.k. Let’s see how long I keep that realization.
Run
Did three miles yesterday and it felt really good. I need to be able to look back at this in the future and remember it. The whole endorphins thing doesn’t really stay with me like a muscle memory for some reason, so I have to perhaps make it stick from a cerarebal versus physical perspective.
